DALLAS -- Evgenii Dadonov scored twice in the third period for the Dallas Stars, who rallied past the Columbus Blue Jackets for a 5-3 win at American Airlines Center on Sunday.

The loss ended a three-game winning streak for the Blue Jackets (26-20-7), who lost defenseman Dante Fabbro and top scorer Kirill Marchenko to upper-body injuries and had star defenseman Zach Werenski miss time in the second period for a medical assessment.

Bourque skated to close out Zach Werenski when the Blue Jackets defenseman took a shot that hit Bourque’s stick and caromed up to hit him in the face. He fell immediately to the ground, bleeding profusely onto the ice.
