A pair of singles finals that went the distance delivered strong viewership for TNT in its first year airing the French Open. According to Jon Lewis of Sports Media Watch, Sunday’s men’s singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner averaged 1.
Today's match marks the first encounter between the two rivals in a major final. Alcaraz currently edges the head-to-heads, leading Sinner 7-4 in past match-ups, including an absorbing five-set win in last year's semifinals at Roland-Garros.
The French Open, which runs through June 9, is currently in full swing. Stream the French Open live online through live TV streamers such as Sling TV.
The 2025 French Open will take place between May 25 and June 8. Singles play begins May 25, with the men's final closing things out on June 8. Thanks to the time difference between the U.S. and France, the tennis tournament at Roland-Garros will start daily play at 5 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT.
