A tornado watch has been issued for the south suburbs and Northwest Indiana as severe storms move into the Chicago area Wednesday.

Multiple tornadoes were reported across Indiana Wednesday night as a powerful storm swept across the Midwest April 3.

Boyle, Casey, Green, Hart, Lincoln, Marion, Mercer, Taylor, Washington, Adair, Barren, Edmonson, Metcalfe and Russell counties are under a flood warning Friday until 10:30 p.m. EST.
