Since Friday, more than 400 barriers have lined the neutral ground side of the Uptown parade route, from the Pontchartrain Expressway to Napoleon Avenue.

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - The Krewe of Kollosse Mardi Gras Parade is this Saturday. Several roads and parking lots will be closed for the parade. All cars parked on the street will need to be moved before 6:00 a.m. on March 1st or the vehicle will be towed at the owners’ expense. All closures will be from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

To the dismay of revelers, cold and rainy weather forced several New Orleans area krewes set to roll on Sunday to reschedule their Mardi Gras parades . Thankfully, weather forecasters are predicting that rain and cold temperatures won't be a problem when the rescheduled parades take off this week.

A number of parades scheduled to take place in New Orleans on Sunday, Feb. 23 were postponed due to the rain. Most were rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25. According to the Jefferson Parish website, each parade will follow a 4.87-mile route heading east on Veterans Boulevard. The parades are set to start on Veterans Boulevard near the Clearview City Center, head down Veterans Boulevard to Severn Avenue, make a U-turn at 18th Street and end on Veterans Boulevard at Martin Behrman Drive.
