Michael Bolton’s family began noticing “weird” symptoms in the days before the singer was diagnosed with brain cancer. His daughter Taryn told People magazine that family members took notice of Bolton’s behavior when he was bowling. Bolton bowled out of turn three times during an outing in late 2023, behavior Taryn would describe as “super weird.”

He also underwent another brain surgery in January 2024. In the interview published April 30, Bolton said he finished radiation and chemotherapy in October and his most recent scan was clear in early April.
