Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris provided injury updates on quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and wide receiver Drake London and both were positive for their chances of suiting up in Week 9.
The Falcons listed quarterback Michael Penix (knee) and wide receiver Drake London (hip) as limited in Wednesday's practice. Coach Raheem Morris said both are considered "day-to-day" and are better than they were last week.

During the open viewing portion of practice, we did get to see Michael Penix Jr. throw the football and go through some footwork drills. Penix is still considered day-to-day but he did tell us after practice that he is feeling better.

Williams has been a bit banged up for Clemson so far this season, but when healthy, he is one of the more dependable wide receivers in the 2026 class. At 5-11 and 190 pounds, Williams is a slot receiver with tremendous short area quickness and football IQ. Combining his skill set with Drake London could be a wonderful pairing.
The Falcons got blown out by the Dolphins with quarterback Michael Penix on the sideline last Sunday and his status will be of chief concern as they move toward their Week 9 trip to New England.
