On Tuesday at about 7:30 p.m. a pedestrian was hit by a car at the intersection of Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 84th Avenue. The driver drove away after the crash and Portland police are looking for the suspect.

The woman killed when struck by a driver in Southeast Portland on Jan. 26 was 71-year-old Portland resident Tuyet Nguyen, police said Monday. Authorities provided no information about Nguyen and no additional information about the crash that killed her.
