NEW YORK — Shedeur Sanders was not the only prospect to receive a prank call during the NFL draft. Kyle McCord, the former Syracuse quarterback who was taken by the Eagles last weekend, told Philadelphia-area media that someone tried to prank him while the draft was ongoing.

FOX Sports analyst Joy Taylor went in on NFL scouts after Shedeur Sanders' slide in the 2025 draft. Months after many mock drafts had him in the top 10, Sanders had to wait until Day 3 to hear his name called.

There is still some speculation over what caused Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders' slide to the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft, and some feel that he could've benefited from having an experienced NFL agent.
