Trump admin tells Gov. Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey to honor ICE detainers for more than 1,300 criminal illegal immigrants held in Minnesota, after allegedly releasing hundreds back on to the streets.

Gov. Tim Walz condemned ICE after witnessing an agent reject medical aid for a woman shot in Minneapolis, calling the reaction “chilling.”

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are asking ICE to leave Minnesota after a resident was killed by an ICE officer.

The Minnesota governor remarked on the extraordinary nature of the possibility: “We’ve never been at war with our federal government.”

(ABC 6 News) – Governor Walz took to the podium in Blaine, Minnesota, on Thursday, a day after an ICE agent shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis on Wednesday. Governor Tim Walz thanked those who created and contributed to a GoFundMe benefitting ICE shooting victim Renee Good.

Walz added that he believes Minnesota is "under assault like no other time in our state's history because of a petty, vile administration that doesn't care about the well-being of Minnesotans."
