Six people are dead in the aftermath of a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Tuscola County, which is near Saginaw, Michigan. The crash happened about 4:44 p.m. at the intersection of Vassar Road and Fairgrave Road in Gilford Township, the Tuscola County Sheriff's Office reported.

Federal investigators are working with the Tuscola County Sheriff's Office to determine what caused a crash that left six people dead, including five members of an Amish family.

Tuscola Co. Sheriff's Office said van occupied by an Amish family was struck by a truck that ran a stop sign. Separately, a buggy was struck by vehicle in Montcalm Co.
