Brighton have signed 19-year-old forward Stefanos Tzimas from Nuremberg for £20.8m (25m euros). The Greece Under-21 international has signed a contract until June 2030 but will remain in Germany with Nuremberg for the second half of the season.

Tzimas has penned a contract to 2030 with Brighton, but will spend the rest of the season on-loan with Nurnberg. The striker joined Nuremburg from PAOK Salonika in the summer on loan, in a move that included an option to buy. Nurnberg activated that option in this current window, ahead of his move to Albion.

Brighton & Hove Albion are set to complete the signing of striker Stefanos Tzimas from FC Nurnberg. A fee of £20million with add-ons has been agreed and the 19-year-old has completed a medical. Brighton’s interest in Tzimas was reported by The Athletic in mid-January.
