The Weeknd delivered a surprise performance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, four years after he boycotted the Recording Academy.

The Weeknd sang two new songs from his just-released album “Hurry Up Tomorrow.” The singer opened with “Cry for Me” and followed it with “Timeless,” which included a performance from Playboi Carti, who is featured on the studio recording.

The Weeknd was nominated for one Grammy this year due to his feature on Future and Metro Boomin's "We Still Don't Trust You." The song was up for best melodic rap performance, but lost to "3:AM" by Rhapsody and Erykah Badu.
