Tigers manager AJ Hinch is praising Max Clark after the top prospect was reassigned to minor league camp on Monday.
Despite Max Clark being cut from major league camp, Detroit Tigers manager A.J. Hinch remains optimistic about Clark's ongoing development.
Clark, who went 2 for 18 with five strikeouts in nine spring games, was reassigned to minor-league camp. Infielder Hao-Yu Lee and catcher-first baseman Eduardo Valencia were optioned to Triple-A Toledo. Catcher Thayron Liranzo was optioned to Double-A Erie.
The Detroit Tigers made their fifth round of roster cuts in 2026 spring training, sending four prospects – including Max Clark – to the minor leagues.
