Emergency services were called to a serious collision involving a man on the southbound carriageway of the M42 between junctions 4 and 3A, near Birmingham, at 11.09pm on Sunday night.

Motorists have been advised of an upcoming closure on the M42 junction 6 slip road as improvement works continue.
