Mac Jones is off the injury report; Another receiver is a DNP
Ricky Pearsall was once again a DNP as he continues to recover from a knee injury. Pearsall wasn’t the only receiver who didn’t practice. Marquez Valdes-Scantling was a new addition to the injury report. He has a calf injury. Per Matt Maiocco, Valdes-Scantling will miss a couple of weeks.
Per David Bonilla of 49ers WebZone, San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters on Thursday that Jones "most likely will" get the nod for the Falcons game. The signal-caller was previously dealing with knee and oblique soreness, but Jones offered a positive update regarding his status after participating fully in Thursday's practice.
