A winter weather advisory has been issued for the north Georgia mountain counties. Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says up to an inch of snow is possible.
The main threat will be locally heavy rainfall. Rain totals could be 1/2" to 1". Locally, some spots could see 1/5"+ of rain.
