See There are no Previous Versions available message? Enable Previous Versions to recover files on Windows via File History or Task Scheduler.

If you've accidentally deleted Desktop folder in Windows 11/10, check the Recycle Bin, use File History, modify Folder Properties, or use a data recovery tool.

To revert a file, right click on the folder where the file is and choose properties and then Previous Versions to restore the folder where your files will be.

Windows 8 can natively mount ISOs, and Task Manager is much improved -- and, perhaps most importantly, Windows 8 now has a built-in, continuous backup tool called File History.
