NEW YORK – Country rock band Confederate Railroad has been under fire for its name. So much so, venues have removed the band from their lineups, including the upcoming Ulster County Fair in New York.

Confederate Railroad will perform Aug. 20 at Camp Jordan as part of the city’s 95th anniversary. It appears the music industry just isn't ready for Danny Shirley and Confederate Railroad to retire.
