Liverpool have reportedly reached an 'agreement' over the signing of Alexander Isak from Newcastle as Romano reveals an 'open door's condition to his transfer.

It has since emerged that Liverpool are still eager to land Isak, who is desperate to force a move away from Newcastle. He has not travelled with the Magpies squad on their pre-season tour and is reported to be training on his own. The situation is yet to resolve itself but Liverpool are thought to be making progress behind the scenes.

Liverpool have devised a new £165million plan to sign Alexander Isak this summer. The Reds confirmed their interest in the Newcastle striker earlier this month, expressing a willingness to open talks over a deal for around £120m. Newcastle promptly told them that Isak is not for sale.
