There are places in the United States that won't participate in daylight saving time when clocks "fall back" this year.

However, daylight savings doesn't occur simultaneously worldwide; for instance, clocks in the UK and Ireland were adjusted last Sunday on October 27, while America holds off until Sunday, November 3.
