The latest user-generated triumph is the Unleashed Project , a massive port of some of the daytime (read: good) levels from the console-only Sonic Unleashed.

No wait, that's not simple at all. RPS reports that the Sonic Generations - Unleashed Project includes most of the day stages from Sonic Unleashed, has improved controls and runs at a smooth 60FPS.

For me this was a really fun mod, and also a very unique one. It's my second lets play of Generations, and coming soon is a STH2006 project lets play, as well as a Sonic Unleashed project lets play.

Sonic Generations may have come out over a decade ago, but these mods will make the game feel like a brand-new experience.

Fans have done what Sega won't - clever-clogs modders have released a version of Sonic Unleashed for PC. The free download works as a total conversion mod for Sonic Generations.
