The touch keyboard in Windows 11 has gone through a major redesign with Microsoft now offering tons of customization options for themes, keyboard size, key size, along with accessibility improvements.
The Touch keyboard will open to its default settings. To set the fingertip or stylus click on the handwriting icon in the Touch keyboard settings section.
Now that you have enabled the touch keyboard, click on the keyboard icon to launch it. Initially, the touch keyboard is just that -- an onscreen keyboard for use on touch screen devices.
Dev Channel Insiders can now grab the latest build of Windows 10. The update includes several improvements to the touch keyboard.
