The company is looking to cut costs starting this week as it continues to spend aggressively on artificial intelligence. Another round of cuts is expected in January.
Amazon is gearing up for the 2025 holidays by bulking up its workforce. The e-commerce giant announced recently it would be hiring 250,000 seasonal, part-time and full-time workers in the U.S. ahead of the 2025 holiday season, including in rural areas of the country.
