The Dallas Cowboys have fired first-year defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus after they allowed the most points and intercepted the fewest passes in franchise history.
The Packers were eliminated by the Chicago Bears in the NFL wild-card round, after losing 31-27 on the road. With that loss, the Packers’ first-round draft selection is locked in at No. 20 overall, a pick that will belong to the Cowboys as a result of the Parsons trade.
Eberflus, who was fired by the Bears in 2024 partway through his third season, had a bottom-five defense with the Cowboys this season.
The Cowboys have parted ways with former Bears HC Matt Eberflus as their defensive coordinator after one season.
