A migrant who was mistakenly released from prison has been found in north London and taken back into custody following a large-scale manhunt, the Metropolitan Police has said.

Hadush Kebatu, an Ethiopian national who was mistakenly freed from HMP Chelmsford on Friday, has been found and arrested after a three-day manhunt.

A delivery driver who spoke to wanted migrant Hadush Kebatu at Chelmsford prison has told Sky News the "confused" offender was guided to the railway station by prison staff.
