Stock Market Today: Dow Ends At Record High; Nvidia Surges As Microsoft Hits Rare Milestone (Live Coverage)
Microsoft climbed around 2% and reached the elite benchmark of a $4 trillion market cap on the stock market today. Apple AAPL also hit that level early in the session but has since dipped back below it. Fellow Magnificent Seven name Nvidia NVDA was the first to hit that monumental valuation, in July.
Apple on Tuesday became only the third company ever to break through the $4 trillion market value milestone. Apple shares rose fractionally in early trading, just enough to briefly push the company’s value above the historic level.
