Ripples of alarm and anger were coursing from Kyiv through Europe as details emerged of President Trump’s 28-point peace plan for Russia and Ukraine.

The peace plan, to which Trump has given Zelenskyy until Thursday to agree, dangles in front of Vladimir Putin and his aides a pathway for sanctions on Russia to be removed and additional economic co-operation between Washington and Moscow as rewards for stopping the war.

President Donald Trump’s special envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, has informed the White House he’ll leave his post in January.
