Jalen Brunson comes up short in crunch time as struggling Knicks fall in ugly road loss to Suns
Trying to drag his struggling squad to a road win, Brunson shot just 1-for-6 in the fourth quarter with two turnovers, both in the final 95 seconds of a 112-107 defeat to the Suns on Friday. The most consequential occurred with 13.5 seconds left, when Brunson threw an errant pass that was deflected by Grayson Allen.
The model pegs Brunson, who is averaging 28.9 points per game this season, for 28.0 points on Wednesday and an Under on this prop line. Brunson has cleared this line just once in six games since the New Year and just once over his last five road games.
He's still among the league leaders in usage for guards who don't crush your percentages. That matters. Fantasy value isn't just about volume.
