Four House Democrats are visiting El Salvador in a bid to support Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a man whom the Trump administration deported to a notorious Salvadoran prison.

Reps. Robert Garcia (D-Long Beach) and Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) led the effort to return Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was wrongly deported, back to the United States for a hearing.

The progressive lawmakers aim to keep the spotlight on a wrongly deported man as well as the administration’s increasingly aggressive deportation tactics.
