Four law enforcement officials, including two current police chiefs, are charged in connection with a scheme to fraudulently secure U.S. visas.

The wife of a Louisiana police chief, who was charged amid a sweeping federal investigation into an immigration visa fraud scheme, was also arrested on Thursday.

The police chiefs of Oakdale and Forest Hill were among those accused of filing false reports that allowed migrants to apply for visas intended for crime victims.
