The Memphis Grizzlies provided an injury update on Ja Morant ahead of Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Grizzlies star Ja Morant is listed as probable for Saturday's game against the Jazz at FedExForum. Morant missed Friday's win over the Pelicans with an illness. Coach Taylor Jenkins said Friday that he hoped Morant and forward Santi Aldama — who also missed Friday's game with an illness — would be able to return Saturday.

The first pick, Zion Williamson, has been plagued with injuries throughout his young career and this season has been no different. Williamson has only played 10 games this season and has unfortunately already been ruled out for Friday's matchup in Memphis.
