Workers celebrated and waved flags to mark the end of more than 650 days of work by TBM Mary Ann to link Water Orton in Warwickshire with Birmingham.

Renate Morley, who lived in Bournemouth, died in December 2021 aged 85 after a long illness. She left her estate to Dorset Community Foundation, which funds grassroots charities and voluntary groups.
