A fire near the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona has grown more than 20 times in size in 24 hours as an intensifying wildfire season sees the return of Canadian wildfire smoke into the U.S.

A new wildfire was reported today at 12:17 p.m. in Los Angeles County, California. The wildfire has been burning on private land. There is no update on the containment progress of the fire and its cause has not yet been determined.

Canadian wildfire smoke returned to Wisconsin this weekend, with unhealthy levels for people with asthma and heart disease.
