Apple AirPods remain for many the quintessential earbuds, their shiny white design perhaps earning the overused word iconic. The latest fourth-generation model has just had its price heavily cut again.

Amazon has the AirPods 4 on sale for $149, dropping $30 off the regular $179 price tag. While 17% might not sound huge, this is the lowest price we’ve seen since their launch, making it a rare chance to grab Apple’s latest at a discount.

Additional sensors on the AirPods Pro 3 make sense. Apple is already all-in on health and fitness via the Apple Watch, and having additional health data via the AirPods will make that tracking more accurate and useful. However, I’m looking for improvements to the AirPods Pro’s original wireless music mission.
