Big Ten Power Rankings: Top three remains deadlocked despite Ducks' ugly win in Week 9
With the conclusion of Week 9 in the Big Ten, the conference standings are beginning to take shape. A trio of contenders have separated themselves from the pack — yet the Oregon Ducks, among those three, still struggled mightily on Saturday evening against a rugged Wisconsin squad that came ready to play.
Week 10 in the Big Ten is built around two national windows: Big Noon Saturday in Columbus, where No. 1 Ohio State hosts Penn State on FOX, and a primetime NBC showcase in Lincoln as No. 23 USC visits Nebraska at 7:30 p.m. ET.
At this point, four teams are either 7-0 or 6-1: BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and Texas Tech. The number of instances in which those four play each other down the stretch is smaller than you might expect, which limits the onset of eat-your-own syndrome.
