Kanye West's Twitter/X account has been deactivated after critics decried his "antisemitic rampage" on Elon Musk's social media platform.

Kanye West has gone dark. In the wake of a series of antisemitic tweets from the rapper and fashion mogul, West's X account was deactivated. At the moment, it's unclear whether West deactivated his account or X did for violating the platform's policies on hate speech.

This was not the first time West had posted antisemitic rants on X. The rapper was restricted on the social media platform in 2022 after a post in which declared that he wanted to go “death con 3 on Jewish people.” The 2022 rant led to widespread backlash and resulted in Adidas terminating its collaboration with West.
