Chace Harold Loney, 47, has been arrested following a shooting on Hilldale Drive that injured one person on Saturday.

Construction continues on retail locations near the Marketplace at Merced, in Merced, Calif., on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and police described their condition as stabled. Officers said they believe this was an isolated incident.
