The beloved former live mascot of the Tennessee Volunteers, Smokey X, has sadly been diagnosed with cancer. On Wednesday, the University of Tennessee announced that a small mass was found in his kidney during a routine scan that was ultimately diagnosed as renal carcinoma - kidney cancer.
