ESPN and College GameDay hit the road this coming weekend to take in college football's most consequential game.

This weekend has entertainment value and chaos potential on its horizon. Both befit the unhinged trip that is 2025 FBS play.

After the rest of Saturday's games ended, "College GameDay" announced on Sunday that it would be in Utah for a Big 12 showdown between the Cincinnati Bearcats and Utah Utes. Cincinnati is the No. 17 team in the country with a 7-1 record, while Utah is No. 24 with a 6-2 record. The Utes just blew out Colorado 53-7 on Saturday night.

The SEC and Big Ten both offered "College GameDay" an appetizing option or two for its Week 10 destination. In the SEC, the Oklahoma Sooners are in Knoxville to face the Tennessee Volunteers in a de facto College Football Playoff elimination game at Neyland Stadium (6:30 p.m. CT, ABC).

Smith was the "GameDay" guest picker in 2023 for Utah's game against Oregon, which might deter ESPN from choosing him again. Weddle, one of the best players in Utah history, is another potential option.
