Officials in San Jose announced that a 4th of July drone show would take place at Lake Cunningham after Tuesday's explosion at a fireworks warehouse in Yolo County led to the cancellation of the fireworks display.

SAN JOSE – A major explosion at a pyrotechnics facility in Yolo County has forced the cancelation of a Fourth of July fireworks display at Lake Cunningham Park in San Jose, but a celebration will still take place, according to an city official.

The city of San Jose announced it was able to secure a drone light show for the July 4 celebration at Lake Cunningham Park.

Seven people are still "unaccounted for" in Yolo County's town of Esparto after several explosions at a fireworks warehouse resulted in a fire, officials said.

The San Francisco-based company is known for staging large-scale fireworks displays across California and the U.S.

Human remains have been found at the site of the Esparto fireworks warehouse explosion. Yolo County confirmed Friday morning that members of the Yolo County Coroner’s Division accessed the site and located human remains.
