6 days ago · SALT LAKE CITY — The full 2025 football schedule for the Utah Utes was announced today, as the Big 12 Conference revealed the conference slate for its second season as a 16-member conference. Utah's second year in the Big 12 includes six home games, including five conference games at Rice-Eccles Stadium among the nine-game Big 12 slate.

Utah has finished in the CFP top-25 in five seasons: No. 22 in 2014 and 2015, No. 19 in 2016, No. 17 in 2018 and program-best No. 11 in 2019. The Utes have made the final AP top-25 six times and the final Coaches' poll seven times under Whittingham.

Eighteen Pro Utes are expected to see game action, with a packed slate on Sunday seeing eight games to include at least one Utah connection.

Dec 10, 2024 · Utah's home conference opener is set for April 5, battling the Mercer Bears on Ute Field. The Utes remain at home on April 12 to welcome Jacksonville to Salt LAX City, leading the all-time series record between the two teams, 5-1. Nov 13, 2022 · With 1:37 to go in the third quarter, two Utes achieved some firsts with true freshman Nate Johnson throwing his first-career touchdown pass with Logan Kendall catching his first touchdown in a Utah uniform. The 16-yard touchdown catch gave Utah a 35-7 lead, ending a 72-yard drive on just four plays.

Madsen becomes the second Runnin' Ute this season to score 31 points in a single-game, knocking down 7-of-15 from beyond the arc with a perfect 6-for-6 night at the line.
