When our community needs us, we respond — no matter what challenges we’re facing. A Vista landlord reached out to us for help this week after not seeing their tenant for several weeks. With the support of the Sheriff’s Department, our Humane Officers entered the abandoned apartment on Oct. 1 and found 11 dogs and two cats living in hoarding-like conditions.
