The Israel Museum @ 60 1965-2025 The year is 1966, and the museum is celebrating the opening of four exhibitions at once: an architecture exhibition, exhibition of etchings, a group show of works by New Horizons artists, and a display of ancient Hebrew inscriptions. Next week we’ll be marking the museum’s 60th anniversary by opening 8 exhibitions in one evening. As it was then, so it is today: these eight diverse exhibitions illustrate the richness of the museum’s collections and its interdiscip
