Our favourite astro-dog Tycho is named after a prominent lunar crater on the southern highlands of the Moon...which itself it named after the Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe - who was famous for his astronomy work before there were even telescopes, plus his prosthetic nose made of gold and silver after he lost part of his nose in a duel in 1566.
