Chuckwagon racing is a big, colourful part of the identity in Saskatchewan’s Northwest; its grit, swagger and good sportsmanship reflect the local character to a ‘T’. So when pro chuckwagon racer D.J. King decided to create his own racing event to brighten up 2020’s ravaged calendar, it restored a bit of that missing colour to the year.
