Imam Muhammad ibn Isma’il al-Bukhari رحمه الله would keep the hair of the Prophet ﷺ with him in order to seek its blessings. He has over 7000 narrations in his Sahih which took him 16 years to compile. He had such adab for Rasulullah ﷺ that he would bathe and make Istikhara before including any single hadith in the work.
