The Lost Colony of Roanoke solved through pottery?? This is one of the coolest archaeological and detective finds I’ve learned about in a long time. I barely took interest in the Roanoke colony mystery growing up because there was little to no information as to what happened. So this accidental find of pottery leading to a hidden detail on an original John White Roanoke map, has reeled me ALL the way back in. I love when modern day tools and techniques are able to shed new light on old mysteries
