We caught a coatimundi this weekend! And moved Lola and the new one we just caught into a new enclosure today! We will have a full YouTube video on catching the new coatimundi with @gabbynikolle up later tonight or tomorrow, but check out the short clip of us catching it that the homeowner filmed of us on a potato phone. We brought the new coati to the vet this morning and got her checked out, she had a horribly overgrown nail that was curled all the way back into her paw. Coatis are not native

Nom nom nom! Update on Lily, the coatimundi that we caught a few weeks ago. She has been very aggressive with us and will charge and try to bite you. So we have been working on trying to hand feed her safely from the other side of the fence to try to win her over. Coatis are like a raccoon on steroids and they can easily hospitalize somebody and are very quick so we have to be very careful. Hopefully we’re able to make some progress with her this technique although it is very slow going.Coatimun
