Opie is home ❤️ I went to pick Opie up from the vets a little earlier today. He’s been diagnosed with autoimmune polyarthritis — a painful condition that can have several possible causes. Right now, the vets are treating what they can and working to calm his overactive immune system in the hope that he’ll soon start to feel more like himself again. We suspect this might be why his owner gave him up. Sadly, we’ve seen it too many times — when a dog really needs their person the most, that’s when
