Update: we found the island. After briefly becoming one of Canada's most famous islands and making international headlines, the floating island on Williston Reservoir has been found. Turns out it wasn't missing. Just drifting. All told, it travelled about 30 km in 15 days before coming to rest along the shoreline of the Ospika Arm. Mystery solved? Not quite. While we now know where it is, we're still learning more about how it formed and how it came to drift across the reservoir. We'll keep foll
